Niagara Foundation

Niagara Foundation is a cultural and non-profit organization based in Mt. Prospect, IL, dedicated to fostering meaningful connections across diverse communities. Operating as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, Niagara Foundation executes a comprehensive range of cultural, intercultural, educational, religious, charitable, literary, and social programs throughout the Midwest. With 22 branches active across nine Midwestern states, the organization has established itself as a significant force in promoting social cohesion and interfaith dialogue.

The foundation operates through three core pillars: Hospitality, Enrichment, and Leadership. Through its Hospitality initiatives, Niagara Foundation creates welcoming, apolitical spaces where diverse conversations flourish, including programs like The Abrahamic Traditions Dinner and Niagara Forums that build sustained relationships between people of different cultures and faiths. The Enrichment pillar provides educational opportunities, Turkey trips, and a reputable internship program designed to develop globally competitive skills while supporting student-led diversity initiatives at universities. The Leadership component recognizes and celebrates distinguished local and global leaders through annual events such as the Peace and Dialogue Awards Ceremony, acknowledging those committed to building a more just and peaceful society.
